Shaheen Shah Afridi's father has confirmed that his son has sought Shahid Afridi's daughter's hand in marriage and that Shahid Afridi's family has agreed. The engagement will be formalised shortly before the wedding in two years' time
Sixty suspects including a proclaimed offender were arrested during search operations in different areas of district Swabi on Tuesday morning.
Arms and ammunition were also recovered from them.

Also there were chances of ceasing of the cardiac activity at high temperatures while the consistent high temperature in environment may cause stiffness of muscles bringing them in contracted state. The symptoms in case of heat exhaustion were impaired consciousness, prolonged durations of sleep, restlessness and irritability, headache, blurring of vision, tremors and fits and scanty dark urine in decreased quantity. Experts suggest people to wear light-coloured and loose-fitting clothes and avoid exposure to sun to beat the heat.
